Pro-Am

The last tournament has almost arrrived, and our crew is slowly dwindling down. It has been a good year thus far and have had an honor of having great people on our staff. Our seasonal staff is now down to 12 and will hold there until all of the fall projects are completed.
 
 Our turf interns are long gone and their hardwork and dedication will not be forgotten. Jon Kaplan, from Rutgers University and Casey Dallas, from Kansas State were the two lucky candidates this year. (If you two read this, I hope you both had a good time and learned as much as possible.)

Buckeye Tree Behind 11 Tees

Even though the course is still being maintained, we are very busy in planning and preparing for the upcoming months. Everything from fall aerification to greens covers to golf course winterization are just a few steps that are being planned out for the upcoming weeks. It is nice having to throw on an extra jacket each morning, although in a couple of months we all will be wanting the warm weather back. So as the next few days pass, enjoy the crisp, cool mornings and the beautiful transformation that autumn brings each year.
