September is in the Air

Sleeping Giant
The 10 day forecast looks like we will finally get a break from the warm weather we have had all month.  Last night the air was much cooler and the morning dew was thick. It won’t be long until the trees change color and the morning frosts hold back the early to rise golfers.

With the recent heat, the course has held on and is still thriving. The cooler temperatures that are to come in the near future will help reduce the amount of afternoon hand watering that is currently taking place to cool off the turf from the intense heat. September always brings the course some afternoon clouds and every once in a while a sprinkle of rain or two. Some pictures were taken today, August 30, I hope you enjoy.
