Almost Summer

Tournaments have begun and it is good to see golfers enyoing the weather, although it would be nice to get a break from the high winds for one afternoon. The course has lost two more mature cottonwoods due to the strong winds, but we can only hope that those will be the last for the season.

As many of you have seen, the old concrete tee signs have been removed and replaced with engraved boulders. The yardages are no longer on the boulder, but now on each tee box set just below the turf level. This was done to give more precise yardage for each set of tees, and the yardages are measured to the center of the green.
