Many of the course and clubhouse trees are beginning to show stress signs and are losing branches and large limbs. A few select trees are almost entirely dead and only have a few live branches left. Our goal is to remove a majority of these weaker trees, especially the ones that could be a threat if to come down in a windstorm.

One of the larger clubhouse trees has already been removed by a contractor due to the possibility of the tree coming down on the clubhouse. This particular tree that was removed had begun to split and was leaning more and more towards the clubhouse. The other trees, about 10 in all, are going to be removed shortly. The remaining stumps will also be removed this fall after the club is closed.
