Wyoming Wind

#16 tree taken down by high winds.
Got to love the spring winds in southern Wyoming. Last week we were blessed with gusts over 50 m.p.h which resulted in blown over trees. Thankfully the cottonwood trees are not bloomed out yet because the leaves act as sails and add to the overall damage. These trees and stumps will be removed and replaced by a new and different variety of tree in the near future.

Another tree bites the dust.
This tree came from #14 and will be used as rip rap for the Trout Run Restoration project
