A bunch of little rodents known as Voles did extensive damage on the course this winter. The little pests like to trench under the snow and they kill the grass wherever they choose to make their tunnels. The voles seem to love to rip and tear the greens covers and use the materials in their nests. Our crew spends an extensive amount of time raking up the damage and seeding the areas. Most of the damage is around greens and tee surrounds, with a little bit of damage in the fariways.
