Spring is Near

Warmer temperatures have reached the valley bringing rapidly melting snow. Paying close attention to the weather forecast helps us to predict when the temperature will reach its peak and allows us to beat the warmer temps and remove snow so that the water does not build up on the greens. With the warmer temperatures and the snow removed, our covers on the greens will help increase soil temperatures which in turn speeds up the growth of the plant. The removal of snow is the most difficult and important job to start off the year.
Mother nature is a tough one to figure out sometimes!
